Processing Fee

Authors are required to submit the processing fee at the time of manuscript submission. Before submitting, authors must carefully read the Guidelines for Authors and ensure the work is original, properly cited, and free from plagiarism.

On receipt of the processing fee, the manuscript will be sent for peer review. Payment of the processing fee does not guarantee acceptance of the manuscript. The processing fee is non-refundable, even if the manuscript is not accepted.

Publication Charges

The Himalayan Journal of Social Sciences and Humanities (HJSSH) is the official publication of the Society. It is mandatory that at least one author of an accepted manuscript is a registered member of the Society.

The Society levies a nominal publication charge on a no profit, no loss basis. These charges cover:

• Publication management and journal production
• Online hosting and long-term archiving
• Abstracting and indexing services
• Distribution to content aggregators and discovery services
• Allocation of Digital Object Identifier (DOI) numbers
• Other related publishing and maintenance services
