The Himalayan Journal of Social Sciences and Humanities (Himalayan J. Soc. Sci. & Humanities) follows a full open access model, ensuring that all published articles are freely available without subscription or access charges.

Users are permitted to read, download, copy, distribute, and use the content for lawful academic purposes with proper attribution. This policy aligns with the Budapest Open Access Initiative (BOAI) .

Authors retain copyright of their work and grant the journal the right of publication. All articles are published under the Creative Commons CC BY 4.0 License , allowing unrestricted use, distribution, and reproduction with proper citation.

Publication Charges

The journal operates on a no profit, no loss basis. A nominal publication charge is applicable after acceptance of the manuscript:

• Indian Authors: ₹3000 per article
• International Authors: USD 40 per article (approx.)

• Abstracting and indexing services
• Distribution to academic platforms
• Allocation of Digital Object Identifier (DOI)
